Their availability in certain global markets are not driven by Leaf Shave, we have no control over which markets BNPL options are available in.

All international orders are shipped via our international shipping partner (Passport). Passport is our trusted third-party international shipping partner. Passport has a number of shipping partners around the world that handle your local delivery and ensure your package arrives safely and quickly.
To create a better delivery experience for you, we offer the option for all international orders to ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). By shipping DDP, duties and taxes are collected directly at checkout so that your package is not stopped and held by customs. Please note that duties and taxes assessed by customs vary by country and product. You may elect not to pre-pay taxes and duties and instead to remit payment locally at which point the responsibility will be yours. Please note that if you elect not to pre-pay taxes and duties, shipping times may be longer and your package may be delayed in delivery prior to duty being paid. If you refuse to pay duty and your package is returned to Leaf Shave we will refund your order less shipping costs and less any duty or taxes incurred by Leaf Shave.
We want you to receive your order as fast as possible! International orders are typically delivered within 8 -14 business days once the order has been fulfilled. Once your order has been fulfilled, the estimated delivery date will be shown on your tracking page.
At any time, if you have a shipping related question you can reach out via your tracking page (‘Need Help’ button) or via email to our international shipping partner Passport at help@passportshipping.com.
We ship to many countries globally, but not all countries. You can confirm if we ship to your country at checkout if your country is available as a selection.
If we do not currently ship to your country, and you find a way to purchase and get product to you, our return policy and warranty policy will not apply to your order. In order to receive warranty service you must have a shipping address in a market we service.
We ship many orders the next business day after they are received. We estimate most orders will ship out within 3 business days. During peak demand times (holidays, etc.) shipping may take longer, thank you for your patience.
If you are ordering on a near deadline, we recommend choosing a premium / expedited shipping option.
Once on the road, transit time depends on your choice of service selected. All times are estimates and not guarantees. Free Shipping takes on average 5-8 business days in transit, after packing and processing times.
If you’d like to cancel your order after purchase, just send us an email at support@leafshave.com and we’ll do our best to fulfill your request.
If your order has been packed and shipped, it can not be cancelled - you would then initiate a return authorization after receipt.
Due to the hygienic nature of shaving razors, we do not offer exchanges for different finishes.
If, for any reason, you aren’t satisfied with your Razors, razor stand or blade disposer, we will refund 100% of your purchase price (less discounts) within 30 days of your purchase, together with any sales taxes you paid when purchasing from Leaf Shave (unless that product is not eligible for returns as noted on the product page).
You must return the products in order to receive this refund. Before you return your items, you will need to notify us of your intent to return any such items and you will receive an authorization with return instructions.

Razors
All Leaf Shave razors and tools use the same blades, and they’re compatible with most standard double-edge safety razor blades.
If you already have a favorite double-edge blade, simply snap it in half (we recommend doing this while it’s still in the paper wrapper to protect your fingers).
Each half becomes a single edge that can be loaded into Leaf razors and tools. You can also use Leaf single-edge blades straight out of the wrapper.
For the Leaf Dermaplaner:
There are two refill components—the blade and the blade guard. These work together as a unit, with the blade inserted into the guard so the safety scallops sit over the cutting edge. For best results and safety, we recommend replacing the blade and guard at the same time.
For the vast majority of Leaf users: Leaf Two is the right place choice.
Leaf Two is designed as an all-over shaver It works comfortably on face, body, and head, adapting to curves with less pressure and less irritation. If you want one razor that covers nearly everything, Leaf Two is it.
Some people choose to add a second tool depending on their routine:
- If you want extra precision for beard lines, edges, or detail work, our single-edge razors (Twig or Thorn) are a great complement.
- If facial exfoliation or peach-fuzz removal is part of your skincare routine, the Leaf Dermaplaner fits naturally alongside Leaf Two.
You don’t need multiple tools to get started—but Leaf is designed to grow with how you shave.
The Twig is the milder, gentler version of our single-blade razor. This is a great choice if you are: a) new to shaving with single-blade razors; or b) have generally sensitive skin, or lighter hair.
The Thorn is the more aggressive version of our single-blade razor. This is a great choice if you are: a) experienced with single-blade razors and know you like a more aggressive setup; or b) have generally darker coarser hair where the extra blade gap will come in handy.
Leaf Shave razors are designed for anyone who shaves.
They work for all genders, skin types, and experience levels, and can be used on the face, body, head, and anywhere in between. Whether you’re shaving daily or occasionally, Leaf razors are built to feel intuitive and comfortable from the first use.
You don’t need to be a shaving expert or have used a safety razor before. Leaf razors are designed to reduce the learning curve while delivering a close, comfortable shave—making them a great option for beginners and experienced shavers alike.
You can shave anywhere on your body with our razors.
Leaf Shave razors use standard safety razor blades, but they are not traditional double-edge (DE) safety razors.
Classic safety razors were introduced over a century ago as a safer alternative to straight razors. While they’re durable and effective, they require manual control of blade angle and pressure, which can create a learning curve for modern shavers.
Leaf Shave combines the best of both approaches:
- From classic safety razors:
All-metal, plastic-free construction and the use of high-quality, inexpensive, widely available safety razor blades. - From modern razors:
A pivoting head that helps maintain the right blade angle automatically, plus multiple blade positions that distribute pressure more evenly for a smoother, more comfortable shave.
In short, Leaf razors shave like modern razors (faster, easier, and more forgiving) while using the materials and refill system of classic safety razors.
Neither! We don't take a gendered approach to shaving, rather we focus onshave area. We're here for folks shaving anywhere, head to toe and in between. <3
Yes. The Leaf Two Razor is designed to be especially comfortable for sensitive skin.
Its pivoting head helps maintain the right blade angle with less pressure, while guarded blade positions reduce irritation, razor burn, and ingrown hairs.
Many people with sensitive skin find Leaf Two feels calmer and more forgiving than both disposable cartridge razors and traditional fixed-head safety razors.
This varies person-to-person based on (among other things) your skin / hair, preferences, and how well you care for your blades.
Most people see between 6 and 12 shaves on a set of blades. Some folks go months, and others swap them every few shaves. Our suggestion is to push them as far as you can out of the gate to get a sense for how long they last for you, and swap them only when you feel they are dull and not shaving any longer. You may be surprised how long they last.
And finally, different blades will last different lengths of time for folks. So feel free to experiment with different blade brands. Reach out for suggestions if you don't know where to start.
The razor itself won't rust (unless wildly abused or neglected). Think of the razor like the fixtures and faucets in your shower. They're finished for corrosion protection. Light care will go a long way for their longevity.
Shaving blades (of any variety, from safety razor blades to cartridge blades) will eventually start tarnishing. Water + Metal + Time = Rust, eventually.
Keep your blades dry between uses for their longest life. And swap them if they need it. If a blade stains the razor body with rust, simply scrub the razor to remove it.
We make it easy to recycle used safety razor blades. Our blade takeback program lets you send blades back to us for recycling through scrap metal streams. To do this, simply secure the tin, pack it up and send it to us at: Leaf Shave c/o RECYCLE, 48 Taugwonk Spur Road Unit 2, Stonington, CT 06378.
Our tin will hold a couple of hundred blades, so you won’t have to send them in to us too often. Additionally, we'll accept blades back in any durable tin, you could for example upcycle an old mints tin!
Alternatively, we recommend taking them to your local scrap metal operation or consulting local recycling guidelines to be sure you’re disposing of your used blades correctly.
For more information, visit our Recycling page.
The small wax adhesive dots on the blades help keep the protective paper wrapper around the blades, and keep the edge of the blade from the paper itself to avoid dulling the blade before it gets in your hands and into your Leaf Shave razor. This is a standard among high-quality safety razor blade manufacturers, and is not something that we at Leaf Shave have control over.
If you find them annoying to deal with, we suggest taking the blade you're replacing (the used blade) and using that to quickly scrape off the wax on the fresh blades before loading them up.
We’ve specifically designed our single-edge half blades for the highest quality shave possible.
However, most standard double-edge razor blades will work as well (some more obscure brands don't hold tolerances tight enough to consistently work with Leaf razors). Just snap them in half (while it's in its paper wrap!) before use with Leaf Shave razors (otherwise, you won’t be able to load them).
According to TSA razors are allowed *without* the blades in your carry on. Safety razor blades need to be out of carryons and in checked luggage or purchased at your destination.
PLEASE NOTE: As of 12/06/2022 we have seen increased reports of TSA agents confiscating safety razors even if they don't have blades loaded or with them. Ultimately, the decision on what to allow is left in the hands of the TSA agent at that time, so please excercise caution and travel with your Leaf Shave razors in your carry-on at your own risk.
Company & Values
Leaf set out to create a better shaving experience, and it turned out that also meant a more sustainable one.
Our focus is on conscious consumption: designing durable, plastic-free shaving tools that perform well enough to replace disposable razors for good. Leaf products use recyclable steel blades instead of plastic cartridges, ship in plastic-free packaging, and are supported by a blade recycling program to help reduce or eliminate shave-related waste.
As a company, Leaf is plastic-negative through our partnership with rePurpose Global, meaning we fund the removal of more plastic from the environment than we use. Our products are also Leaping Bunny certified, ensuring they are cruelty-free.
Each Earth Month, we also support environmental and ecological work by donating to a nonprofit chosen by our team. Past partners include the National Forest Foundation, Bat Conservation International, Pacific Whale Foundation, Pollinator Partnership, and the Coral Restoration Foundation.
We don’t believe consumers can shop their way out of the climate crisis, and we’d never ask for perfection. Our goal is to make it easier to make better everyday choices, without sacrificing the quality or comfort you expect from your shave.
Yes! If a razor meet's it's end of life for any reason, it can be recycled as scrap metal.
Safety razor blades are steel and can be recycled in the same way. For more information on blade recycling, visit our Recycling page.
Yes, Leaf Shave products are cruelty-free. We do not test on animals (just our hairy selves heh).
We have been Leaping Bunny certified since 2024.
We are always open to listen. As a small company we don't have the resources to do everything we want or everything that comes across our plates. But we will listen and connect if it's a fit.
Yes we do! The first step is to apply here: Leaf Shave Retail Application. We will review your application and reach out if it is a fit.
